PECHA KUCHA

I started off by looking at graphic designers and artists that I really liked, whether it was the colours, shapes or wahtever I didnt link it to the project at first I just looked at what i liked.

I also took random pieces of research that I found interesting – like the bit above about different music frequencies having various colours.

I then started focusing my research a bit more and looked at glitch artists that I could use for inspiration in the ways that I glitch to help me branch out with my techniques.

I used the show Black Mirror and the movie Ready player one (two shows I really love) to help me imagine this futuristic way of thinking about technology – a darker side to it that people dont really think about as technology continues to become increasingly more realistic.

I wanted to look at things such as censorship and how these play a massive part in deception in todays world, and how it could be used to influence people evne more if technology becomes more used and apart of everyday life then it is now.
also thought about physical distortion/ glitching that I could do with light to change perception as a different way of glitching – also glitching people in real life which could be used to represent the effects of vr
Facebook do a 360 photo already which can make things ten times more realistic so it’s already making virtual reality a more avaialbe thing for people to use.
I then started thinking about how I could present the glitches that I want to create – including quick adverts that pop up like the channel 4 one that caused confusion as it looked like a “glitch” and then glitching adverts like the nike one i glitched above for example.
